I have come up with a ---
Are you ready for this--
it is time for the first --
so lets get some 'ducks' in a row and--
do something--
now this can be as simple as cleaning out a thread drawer and matching up the bobbins with the spool of thread--
or--redoing some of your stash!!
I think I know what my project will be!!!
Putting this drawer unit together --
putting away the Christmas fabric--
(I do have a winter quilt that I am designing and working on, right now too)
and see the plastic 3 drawer cabinet at the other end of the cutting table--
that is to hold and sort my felt/wool fabrics, for projects--
and that felt/wool is in here--
so that means that this closet will get cleaned out and organized too--
I did really well keeping things in their place in this little closet--
until Dec--when I started on Christmas projects--
plus I already knew that I was going to clean this out--
so why bother keeping it neat all month??????
My plan is to do my 'organizing' this week end--
but I will give everyone until Sunday evening on January 25th to do yours--
then leave me a comment on what you did--
I will do a prize--so get to thinking and doing--

Smiles- di and miss gracie

  1. oooo well is sorting one new house out and doing up the old one to sell and make me a new craft room count as there is one heck of a sorting out to do ... I have started in the craft room already :) love mouse xxxxx

  2. I'm with you! I've sorted all my scraps by color, and consolidated them all into one place. I've also kitted up fabrics with patterns, I got rid of one bag of crappy scraps, and I'm getting ready to start a travelling stash box. I'll see what more I can get done by the end of the month. Thanks for the challenge!!

  3. Sounds like a good plan. I need to see if I can get all of my fabric on the shelves. I have a few stacks that need a place to hide! lol Hugs!

  4. This is a great challenge! I need to go find a spot to work on... :) I have lots of choices! xxx
